No writer fears writer’s block less than Voldemort feared his death. The inability to create something new or the stagnation of one’s imagination is the ultimate nemesis of a writer.

Writing is an art, a picture of your thoughts, a montage of your emotions. When a writer pens down a piece of work, he makes himself willingly vulnerable to judgements and interpretations, risking the fate of his hard work to the criticisms world. Hence, the writer’s block is undoubtedly the bane of any writer’s existence.
Writer’s block is not merely a void of creative thoughts in your mind, or a temporary reluctance to put your words on the paper. It is a severe psychological situation, where you have no clue of what you are writing or at many times about what you have already written. You are like a blank white sheet with a drought of ideas in your mind. This drought has many internal and external causes: fear, expectations, the pressure being a few of them.
‘What will people think of my writing?’ is a long-lasting fear in the process of writing. It is one of the reasons why many amateurs never become writers.
“I will have to write it no matter what,” causes the pressure of writing, sometimes because of the strict deadlines, while the rest of the time due to our own expectations. Writing under pressure sabotages the spirit of writing and cages creativity.
“I have to be right in what I write”, is a mirage that some writers obsessively aim for, only to realise that it is, indeed, a mirage. Writing need not have to be perfect more than precise and authentic.
Think about writer’s block as an actual blockage in your journey. You can either believe your fate and wait till the obstruction is out of your way somehow or get rid of the block by yourself. Waiting, however, proves to be the wrong choice, as no one else but you can crack the block.
The best way to tackle a writer’s block is to write consistently without stopping. Write down all the random, correlated, remotely related, nonsense etc., kind of thoughts until it starts making sense.

A Writer’s block can be as tough as you make it, but if you are willing to break that block, nothing can stop you from doing so. Set your imagination free and let your creativity flow. Pen down every thought that comes to your mind. Edit it till it makes sense and satisfies your writing mind. Keep scribbling every idea until you make your way out of the block. The willingness to tackle a writer’s block is the ultimate way to tackle a writer’s block.
