Work DoneSPJIMR approached LexiConn with a unique requirement. As part of the selection process for their PG programs, candidates are required to compete across multiple stages, including a group discussion.
Our mandate was to create 50 short case studies that could be used for the group discussion stage. Instead of the traditional GD on a business topic, the client decided to use case studies to gauge the candidate's analytical and problem-solving skills.
The case studies had to be original, fictional, or semi-fictional stories crafted with multiple complexities to challenge the participant's ability to comprehend business scenarios and offer meaningful solutions. The goal was to examine skills like logical thinking, data interpretation, business strategy, ethics, cost accounting, and decision-making.
Since SPJIMR attracts participants with varied academic and professional backgrounds, the case studies had to avoid domain-specific scenarios and focus on themes like marketing, information management, operations, supply chain, social issues, business strategy, sports, environment, engineering, and more.
The team at LexiConn conducted extensive research and worked within the strict brief to craft stories based on data, statistics, and practical scenarios to ensure that the sessions were engaging and sparked meaningful discussions.
Our client appreciated the quality and speed of the work done and extended the contract for another 50 case studies, which were delivered with the same gusto!
