In this case study, we examine the behind-the-scenes process that led to the successful development of BPCL's road trip app.
It all began with LexiConn's meticulous data aggregation efforts, involving the careful sourcing of information from hundreds of primary sources.
Our expertise in data annotation and data management played a pivotal role in this journey. For each of the 500+ destinations we delivered four things: a 500-word travelogue, a location FAQ sheet, destination images, and the uploading of that content to the app's CMS.
The FAQ sheet carried the data points a traveller needs before setting out: entry fees, best time to visit, timings and notable facts about each place. Every fact was cross-referenced against multiple reliable sources before it was uploaded.
Our approach involved:
LexiConn aggregated, annotated and uploaded content for more than 500 travel destinations across India, sourcing from booking offices, state tourism facilities, firsthand accounts from tourists, and freelance photographers commissioned across the country.
The collective hard work, collaboration, and brainstorming sessions culminated with LexiConn winning the India Content Leadership Award in the Best Content for a Travel/ Tourism App category.
